Thats right, Canton Wintersports Center at Westmoreland Resorts have announced plans to build an indoor ski slope west of Asheville, NC. The resort will have ski in/ski out condos and feature luge and bobsled, snowboard half-pipe and super-pipe, hockey rink, and Olympic-sized cross-country skiing in addition to the slopes. Now the U.S. can join places like Dubai, Madrid and others who have indoor skiing facilities already.

I heard that the ski resort is phase 3. They are selling property now, I guess to get more cash to build this thing.
Nice post, thanks for those information. I really love skiing and snow boarding.. I love discovering resorts and I'm interested about the resort you mentioned.
