I saw this on Hackaday, where these guys at grafsnowboards.com built their own snowboard. It looks like they did a wonderful job. The builders mention that they would like to make the next one a little thicker for extra stiffness. I would like to see some titanium rods used for a stiffer snappier feel. Maybe I will build my own. They sure have a great site for reference in your own snowboard construction.

hey, what kind of wood are snowboard’s made out of
typically the wood core of a snowboard is Beech, Birch or Poplar though I have heard of other woods being used.
u guys suck dick
Very inviting. This approach would probably be a good leverage for attracting people who're new to the sport of snowboarding, as much as it would intrigue seasoned snowboarders as well. I just hope that its pricing is reasonable as to not scare off the prospective boarders.
winter season is coming and I think building our own snowboard is a great idea, it will be easier for us to use the board since it is our choice..
