But, I do not have a game controller for my Mac and using the keyboard to play Super Mario Brothers is less than exciting.

Well, good thing for me the Xbox 360 controller has drivers available for the Mac. After some digging, very little actually, I found Tattiebogle.net has published a driver for the Xbox 360 controller.  This piece of software got my computer to recognize the Xbox 360 controller, but I still wasn’t able to map it to keys on the keyboard.  After a little more searching I found gamepad companion for the Mac which allowed me to map the keyboard keys to the controller. :)
